Filler and wrinkle relaxers can be discussed in one consultation, but they have different purposes. A combined plan should explain the role of each treatment rather than promise that more procedures will always create a better result.
Give each proposed treatment a separate reason
Ask which concern would be addressed by filler and which by changes to muscle movement. Review the risks, costs, and alternatives for each individually.
Discuss whether starting with one treatment and reassessing would make more sense. You should be able to understand—and accept or decline—each part of the plan.
A staged plan can make assessment easier
If two procedures are proposed, ask whether doing one first would help you understand its result before considering the other. Discuss why simultaneous treatment is recommended if that is the plan. Review consent and cost for each separately. A combined approach should have a reason beyond the availability of a package.
