Detox is often used loosely in beauty marketing. Before choosing a service under that label, ask what it actually does and avoid treating a facial or infusion as proof that toxins are being removed from your body.
Replace the slogan with a specific purpose
Ask which concern the proposed service addresses and what evidence supports the advertised benefit. Cleansing skin, discussing dryness, and treating a medical problem are different tasks.
If you want help with symptoms or a suspected exposure, seek an appropriate clinical assessment. A seasonal package should not promise immune benefits or internal detoxification without a clear basis.
Ask what a detox claim is supposed to measure
If a service claims to detoxify, ask what substance is supposedly being removed and what evidence or outcome supports the claim. Vague promises of a reset should not be treated as a medical explanation. You can choose a relaxing skincare visit without assigning it unsupported whole-body health benefits.
