Conventional microneedling and Morpheus8 both use needles, but Morpheus8 also delivers radiofrequency energy. The choice should follow your concern, anatomy, and risk discussion rather than the assumption that a more intensive device is better.
Ask what the extra energy would add to your plan
Have the provider explain why conventional microneedling or RF microneedling is being proposed for your concern. Compare the expected recovery, alternatives, and risks for your skin.
RF microneedling has additional risks associated with energy delivery. Read the current FDA safety information and ask how the clinician assesses and manages those risks.
Compare recovery as well as intended outcome
Ask which preparation and care instructions differ between conventional and RF microneedling. Discuss how the provider will assess progress and what would make them change the plan. The procedure with the more intensive description is not automatically the right choice. Your concern, risks, and practical ability to follow aftercare all matter.
