PRF is discussed in aesthetic care for several purposes, but the name alone does not establish what it can achieve for your concern. Ask about the proposed use, the evidence supporting it, and how your progress would be assessed.
Separate the preparation from the promised outcome
Have the provider explain how the material is prepared, where it would be used, and why it is being recommended. Ask whether the proposed use has limitations or uncertain evidence and what alternatives are available.
Claims such as natural or regenerative should not replace a discussion of risks, realistic goals, and follow-up.
Natural is not a substitute for a risk discussion
A treatment can involve material prepared from your own blood and still require careful assessment, technique, and consent. Ask which outcomes are supported for the proposed use and where uncertainty remains. Compare PRF with alternatives for the same concern rather than choose it solely because it is described as natural.
