Fillers

Dermal Fillers are used to add volume to areas where loss has occurred with age, enhance the lips, hydrate the lips, and fill in fine lines. The fillers offered at Honey Rae are all hyaluronic acid based. Each treatment varies in time based on the area being treated and the amount of filler needed as well.

FAQs

  • At Honey Rae, we use a topical numbing cream that is placed prior to your injections. The filler we use also has lidocaine mixed in, so your lips will continue to numb as we go. You may have some discomfort during your treatment, but we do our best to minimize any pain you may have.

  • Your lips may feel numb during the procedure and up to two hours after your procedure due to the lidocaine that is mixed with the filler as well as the topical numbing cream we use.

  • Previous filler may need to be dissolved to obtain the best results. Talk with your injector and see if dissolving your previous filler is right for you.

  • One of the risks with filler is called a vascular occlusion. This only occurs in 1 in 5,000 people, so a rare occurrence. Your injector does everything in their power to avoid this complication and will educate you on things to watch out for after your appointment for early detection.

  • Bruising and swelling can occur after your injections. We recommend allowing yourself 2 weeks to fully heal before any events or vacations.
